Scarlett Johansson stopped by the Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday in a chic beige look.ย
The movie star revealed during her interview that she was shocked when her husband Colin Jost made a crude joke about her body live on air on his show SNL.
โI blacked out for that period of the night. I donโt โ I actually donโt remember it,โ Scarlett admitted.ย
During the most recent joke swap Jost read a joke about OpenAIโs voice assistant, which is somewhat similar to the film Her.
In the movie, Johansson lent her voice to a virtual assistant.ย
On SNL, Jost said he never watched Her for one very lewd reason: โWithout that body, whatโs the point of listening?โ he said while cringing as if heโd been hit.
Johansson told Clarkson she screamed as soon as her own picture came up during that segment.
The Iron Man star, 39, looked stunning on Kellyโs talk show.
She wore a tan wool crepe vest from designer Mayte ($1,149) and matching flare-leg pants ($750).
The oversized vest featured a double-breasted front closure and two pockets and she accessorized with gold rings, necklaces and bracelets.
Scarlett wore her dark blonde hair in loose waves and kept her makeup simple with smokey eyes and a pale pink lip.
Kelly โ who recently sparked rumors that she has a crush on Kevin Costner โ coordinated in a tailored, long-sleeved yellow dress featuring cold buttons down the entire length of the garment.
On the show, Scarlett joked about how โbrutalโ it is when she watched her husband Colin Jost reading a joke about her during the SNL Weekend Updateโs annual joke swap tradition with co-host Michael Che.
Jost and Che write jokes for each other to tell during Weekend Update but they canโt see the joke before. As they tell it, they are learning the punchline for the first time โ and it is usually quite offensive.ย
Kelly was surprised by the fact that Jost and Che only see the joke live on air while the Lost in Translation actress said she โblacks outโ during the segment.
โWe needed to, like, go into witness protection that night. Like, I am absolutely terrified weโre gonna be like, targeted. Itโs so bad,โ Johansson explained.
Scarlett next appears into Fly Me To The Moon and explained how she had to use her status in Hollywood to get the movie made and how she seeks out roles that portray fully-rounded women.
She starts in the rom com with Channing Tatum who plays a NASA official working on the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Johansson plays a marketing executive who is tasked with shooting a fake moon landing in case the mission goes wrong.ย
Fly Me To The Moon lands in theaters on July 12.ย ย
