KATIE Priceโs ex-fiancรฉ Carl Woods is ready to fight back if negative claims are made about him in her bombshell new memoir.
The car salesmanโs on/off relationship with Katie, 46, finally came to an end late last year after a tumultuous 2023.
Next week Katie, 46, will release her latest book titled This Is Me: The high life. The dark times.
Marketing it as โthe true story behind the headlinesโ the book will touch on all aspects of her life from relationships and addiction to mental health, family and childhood.
Outspoken Katie has taken swipes at ex-husbands Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler in the past, and Carl is anticipating it will be his turn to feel her wrath in the book.
A source said: โIf Katie drags Carlโs name through the mud heโs ready to do what he needs to, to set the record straight. He wonโt stand for Katie putting out a warped view of their time together and is vowing to undo any claims and expose secrets from their relationship if that should happen.
โKatie shouldnโt underestimate him. Carl insists he has all the evidence he needs to rubbish any negative claims. Heโs remained quiet since their split and is happy to leave Katie alone, but he is determined not to become the latest ex to be pulled apart in a book.
โAfter all, people in glass houses shouldnโt throw stones.โ
Katie and Carl first got together in the summer of 2020 and were engaged 10 months later.
Over the course of their relationship there were matching tattoos, exotic holidays and plans for marriage and children.
But Katieโs erratic behaviour and a series of rows eventually put an end to their time together.
Mum-of-five Katie, who is now in a relationship with Married At First Sightโs JJ Slater, insists people will view her differently after the book is released on July 18.
Relationship drama aside, she was recently evicted from her Mucky Mansion over an unpaid ยฃ760k tax bill and, prior to that, was spared jail after crashing her ยฃ63,000 Range Rover on a country road while under the influence of drink and drugs.
She said: โI donโt know how I came through it, but I did, because I knew if I didnโt change things myself and mentally, I wouldnโt be here.
โI think people just need to give me a break and get to know me.
โI donโt deserve a lot of things that people say. I think once people read the book, then theyโll judge me differently.โ
Carl Woods is not taking any chances when it comes to potential negative claims in Katie Price’s upcoming memoir. After their tumultuous relationship came to an end in late 2023, Carl is prepared to defend his name against any false accusations that may arise in the book.
With Katie marketing her memoir as “the true story behind the headlines,” Carl knows that his side of the story may come under scrutiny. According to a source, if Katie tries to tarnish his reputation, Carl is ready to set the record straight and expose any secrets from their time together.
Despite remaining silent since their breakup, Carl is determined not to be portrayed in a negative light in Katie’s book. He is confident that he has evidence to debunk any claims made against him and is willing to defend himself against any attacks.
While Katie has had public feuds with her ex-husbands in the past, Carl is bracing himself for potential jabs in the memoir. He is steadfast in his resolve not to be another one of Katie’s former partners who gets dragged through the mud in her tell-all book.
As Katie prepares to release her memoir, she has also been dealing with personal and financial struggles, including an eviction from her home over a tax bill and a legal issue stemming from a car accident while under the influence. Despite these challenges, Katie hopes that readers will see her in a different light after reading her book.
