Justin Timberlake isnโt crying any rivers.
The 43-year-old Grammy winner appeared to mock his recent legal troubles during his concert in Boston on Saturday, according to a fan video shared on X.
Timberlake, 43, was talking to the crowd inside the TD Garden during the latest stop on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour when he alluded to his June 18 DWI arrest with a joke.
โSo uh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving and โฆ no Iโm just kidding,โ the โSocial Networkโ actor said.
After the audience erupted in laughter, the โSexyBackโ singer continued, โIs there anyone here tonight, that itโs your first time here to the show?ย
Is there anybody here that youโve been to 1, 2, 3, maybe 4 of our shows?โ
โFor all of you that itโs your first time tonight โ on a serious note โ I hope that you feel the fellowship and the love.โ
Timberlakeโs onstage comments come nearly two weeks after he was pulled over in Sag Harbor, New York, and charged with one count of DWI and two citations for allegedly running a stop sign and failure to stay in lane.
According to an arrest report obtained by Page Six, an officer saw the โCry Me A Riverโ singer โfail to keep on the right side of the roadwayโ and drive through a stop sign.
After a traffic stop, the officer claimed Timberlake โperformed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.โ Page Six was also told he repeatedly refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The report further states the singer told authorities, โI had one martini and I followed my friends home.โ
Timberlakeโs next court date is July 26, but he is not required to attend.
Following the arrest, Timberlakeโs attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said, โMr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DAโs office.โ
Since getting pulled over and arrested, Timberlake has kept himself busy with his tour. His wife, Jessica Biel, 42, was spotted supporting him in the crowd during his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 25.
