The Royal expert predicts that Princess Kate will wave to us from the palace balcony next week. Prince William recently said that Princess Kate is doing well as she continues her preventive cancer treatment. The Princess of Wales could make a surprise return to public life with an appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 15th, an expert has claimed. Kate has been out of Royal events since December when she took time off to have major abdominal surgery and was then diagnosed with cancer. Kate is still undergoing treatment, but Royal historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop believes Kate may surprise everyone by stepping out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace at the event.

The expert told The Mirror that whether Kate will appear on the balcony on the big day on June 15th remains to be seen. She added, โMy hunch is that she will wave at us, but if she doesnโt, itโs entirely her right.โ Questions about Harry and Meghan are bound to come to the surface if they are seen at the window and not invited to the balcony. With both Kate and King Charles recovering from their cancer diagnoses, many fear there may be a small number of Royals present on the day.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Kate will not participate in the ceremony. The final rehearsal for the Kingโs birthday celebrations is on June 8th, but she has yet to provide any information on whether she will take part in the main event a week later. Dr. Dunlop suggested that non-working Royals such as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice could help fill the gaps. She added, โThis year there will be a smaller selection of balcony crew if the Princess of Wales stays away. In that case, might it be time to review the role of non-working Royals? Certainly, all those cousins, Eugenie, Beatrice, and Zara, who have long behaved loyally, would certainly enjoy the prospect of standing side by side with their King. After all, isnโt that what families are for?โ
In May, Prince William gave an update on Kateโs recovery, saying she was doing well during his visit to St. Maryโs Community Hospital in Hugh Town. William spoke to Tracy Smith, the hospital administrator. She said after the meeting, โI asked William about his wife Kate, and he said she is in good health, thank you. I suggested that they come to visit and take the children. The kids are so jealous that Iโm here. Maybe weโll come later in the year,โ William told her.
