Jay Blades seemingly hinted at tumultuous times weeks before his split from his wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen was announced.

In 2022, the former couple tied the knot with an intimate ceremony of just 15 guests in Barbados.

However, after 18 months of marriage, Lisa took to social media last month to confirm their break-up.

While many were surprised, some of the star’s fans were adamant he had alluded to their separation in a cryptic post on X.

In a tweet from March 19th, Jay posted a photo of his shoes on a red carpet along with a heartfelt caption.

The post read: “THOUGHT OF THE DAY. Life has a Way of tripping you up when you least expect it. 

You must learn from this experience and get ready to Move, differently.”

Although it seemed as though he was encouraging his fans, just six weeks later Lisa took to social media with the shock announcement.

In her pinned post, the fitness influencer penned: “I don’t know how to say this because it’s still really raw.

“I probably should be really angry but I’m just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much.”

Lisa-Marie continued: “I will admit I’m crying as I type this as I can’t believe this is even real. I hope you don’t mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I’m currently in a spare room with a few essentials.

“I don’t know what else to say. All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie x.”

It came a day after Jay announced that he would be taking time away from social media to process his grief following the death of his uncle Richard Brathwaite, 72 who was allegedly stabbed to death by his neighbour.
