Eminem made sure to shame Diddy on his new album, โDeath of Slim Shady (Coup de Grรขce)โ โ he brings up Diddyโs sexual assault allegations on multiple tracks!!!
On Friday, Em made good on his promise to push boundaries with his 12th album on the song โAntichrist,โ which mockingly paints himself as the worldโs bad guy.
โBut who else is as pitiless, actually witty and crass, hideous, ghastly, and insidious as me โฆ or spitting as nasty? Next idiot ask me is getting his ass beat worse than Diddy did โฆโ โย
stopping short of saying Cassieโs name.
Em then implied Diddyโs attack was the result of Cassie being fed up with the alleged freak-offs and mocked Puff in the ad-libs โย
โBut on the real, though (What?)/ She probably ran out the room with his f****** dildo (Come here)
/ He tried to field goal punt her, she said to chill (No!!!)/ Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe โฆ ewww ๐ฑ!!!
Eminem pre-warned fans they should listen to the tracks in order โฆ because he immediately doubled down on the Diddy tip with the very next song, โFuel,โ featuring JID โ it features plenty more shots at Diddyโs sexual assault and Tupac Shakur murder allegations.
Em raps on the track, โDo not test like an essay (Why?)/ โCause like where my homies out West, aye (Yeah)/ We can just say (What?)/ Iโm like an โR-A-P-E-R (Yeah)/ Got so many S-As (S-As) S-As (Huh)/ Wait, he didnโt just spell the word rapper and leave out a โPโ, did he?/ (Yup!!!!)โ
He then accuses Diddy of being involved in Pacโs 1996 slaying โฆ โR-I-P, rest in peace, Biggie/And โPac, both of yโall should be living/Yup, but I ainโt tryna beef with him โcause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D, get him/ And thatโs the only way youโre gonna be killing me (Nah) Ainโt gonna be on no beat, silly (Yeah),โ he spews.
Vintage Shadyโs back for the last time, and aside from joining the โNo Diddyโ lines, and shots at Gen-Z privilege โฆ he shouts out Christopher Reeve, Columbine and Kurt Cobain. No sacred cows for Em.
Eminem certainly did not hold back on his new album, as he took aim at Diddy with references to his sexual assault allegations. The track “Antichrist” sees Eminem mocking himself as the world’s bad guy and making a direct mention of Diddy’s past actions. This was just the beginning of Eminem’s targeting of Diddy, as he continued to fire shots on the very next track, “Fuel.”
On “Fuel,” featuring JID, Eminem not only calls out Diddy for his alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur’s murder but also spells out “R-A-P-E-R” in a controversial lyric. The rapper seems unfazed by the potential backlash, as he keeps on delivering hard-hitting verses throughout the album.
It’s clear that Eminem wanted to stir up some controversy with his 12th album, and he definitely succeeded in doing so. Fans were pre-warned to listen to the tracks in order to fully grasp the narrative and the intense lyrics targeting Diddy.
As Eminem continues to push boundaries and challenge the status quo, it will be interesting to see how the public and other artists react to his bold statements. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
