Travis Barkerโs ex-wife Shanna Moakler wonโt mince words when it comes to the Kardashians โ despite being tied to them through her and the drummerโs kids.
โ[I] donโt have to like the fโking Kardashians, and Iโm honestly sick of talking about them,โ Moakler told People in an interview published Monday.
โAs I stand here today, as a mature woman whoโs gone through all that โฆ I do not give a fโk what anyone thinks of me anymore. Iโm proud of who I am.โ
โIโm more than just the ex-wife of famous men,โ she told the publication.
ย โI was Miss USA at 19.ย
Iโm smart. Every part Iโve ever got in any movie, or every show I hosted or auditioned for, I worked my fโking ass off to get.โ
The Blink-182 rocker since has married Kourtney Kardashian, and in addition to blending their two families the couple has welcomed a son of their own: Rocky. The Poosh founder also shares Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, with ex Scott Disick.
Moakler also told People that she and Barker โdonโt speak anymore.โ
โI donโt have a relationship with Travis, but I think thatโs OK,โ she told the magazine. โI donโt feel like itโll be like that forever, but I feel like right now โ I think thatโs where we are at in our evolution, and maybe in the future, itโll change.โ
The former beauty pageant queen added that she doesnโt โcare about her exes at the momentโ because sheโs focusing on healing from the death of her parents, who passed away seven months apart.
โIโm an empty nester and turning 50, and Iโm just trying to find my place in the world again without my parents or a partner,โ she shared.
Moakler, who recently admitted to using Mounjaro to lose weight she gained from her grief, said in May that she couldnโt โcompeteโ with Barkerโs parenting.
โI think it really comes from like when youโre dealing with like a narcissist or youโre dealing with a controlling personality,โ she said on SiriusXMโs โJeff Lewis Live.โย
Moakler acknowledged that her ex is a โvery powerful famous person,โ which made it hard to โcompete on that level.โ
โBut I gave up, I was never really trying to compete. I gave that up a long time ago,โ she explained. โI was like, โYou win. Like youโre the winner.โโ
