Lopez and Violet wore opposite summer trends during their unexpected outing.

Jennifer Lopez and Violet Affleck seem closer than ever, despite the literal (and allegedly emotional) distance between J.Lo and Ben Affleck.

On July 14, Lopez was spotted walking arm-in-arm with Violet in the Hamptons while the 18-year-old’s father, Ben Affleck, was all the way back in Los Angeles.

 In the photos, Lopez wore an ultra-wide-leg black jumpsuit while Violet went full Tomato Girl Summer in Lisa Says Gah’s spaghetti-printed jeans, a graphic T-shirt, Veja sneakers, and a short-sleeve red cardigan.

As usual, Violet was masked up to protest mask bans, but I still almost mistook her for her mom, Jennifer Garner. (Seriously, they look so much alike.)

In one photo shared by Page Six, Lopez and Violet had their arms around each other outside of the 75 Main restaurant, where they reportedly had lunch with one of the teenager’s close friends. 

That same day, Ben Affleck was photographed riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles.

According to People, Lopez shared a short Instagram Story video revealing the teen’s arrival in the Hamptons on July 13. While Lopez has been in New York since the beginning of the month, Violet was seen celebrating the July Fourth holiday with her father on the West Coast.

All this back and forth comes amid rampant rumors that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are “headed for divorce.” Ever since Affleck allegedly moved out of their shared home in May, both parties have been seen with and without their wedding rings and have only been photographed together on a few occasions involving their blended family.

In late May, Lopez canceled her world tour to spend more time with “her children, family, and close friends.” At the time, a source told People that the couple is attempting to “put the kids first,” adding, “Jennifer and Ben have always been very family-oriented.”

Violet’s resemblance to her mom, Jennifer Garner, is striking, with both wearing masks to protect themselves. A photo captured outside the 75 Main restaurant showed the pair with arms around each other, enjoying lunch with one of Violet’s friends. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck was spotted riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles on the same day.
