Former glamour model and mum-of-five Katie Price has warned fans that they could get Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from reading her upcoming autobiography This Is Me, set for release on July 18
The Priceyโs autobiography, *This Is Me*, releases on July 18, revealing โthe true story behind the headlinesโ with reflections on relationships, family struggles, and addiction.
Mum-of-five Katie is set to expose people from her past, as well as give her fans an insight into the positive changes sheโs made to grow and move forward.ย
But Katie has warned fans itโs not for the faint-hearted, and thereโs a risk of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from reading it.
Katie told The Sun: โThereโs actually a warning at the beginning of the book that you could get PTSD from reading it, because itโs quite a serious book.โ
The 46-year-old explained that writing the book was cathartic, helping her to deal with some of the awful situations she found herself in over the years and put it โbehindโ her, adding sheโs โhad lots of changesโ happen. Katie said: โPeople now see really what Iโve been through and hopefully they will realise I am a human being, not a product and I do have feelings.โ
The former glamour model promoted her book on social media recently, telling fans they would think of her differently once they read the book.
Speaking to her followers on Instagram: โPeople have no idea what things Iโm having to deal with behind the scenes. People have to remember Iโm living it and I have lived it, I donโt know how I came through it, but I did. Because I knew if I didnโt change things myself and mentally, I wouldnโt be here.โ
She added: โI think people just need to give me a break and get to know me. I donโt deserve a lot of things that people say. I think once people read the book, then theyโll judge me differently.โ
One person who may not be looking forward to reading the book is Katieโs ex Carl Woods, who she split with once and for all at the end of 2023, after a tumultuous time together. The car salesman is reportedly concerned Katie will take swipes at him, like she did in past books to Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: โHe wonโt stand for Katie putting out a warped view of their time together and is vowing to undo any claims and expose secrets from their relationship if that should happen. Katie shouldnโt underestimate him. Carl insists he has all the evidence he needs to rubbish any negative claims.โ
They added: โHeโs remained quiet since their split and is happy to leave Katie alone, but he is determined not to become the latest ex to be pulled apart in a book.โ
