Prince Harry will one day permanently return to the UK โ but it will be without his wife, Meghan Markle, a prominent royal biographer has sensationally claimed.
Hugo Vickers, a well-established royal author who co-wrote Prince Edward, the Duke of Kentโs, 2022 memoir โA Royal Life,โ has suggested that Harry, 39, will make a defiant return to home soil one day.ย
Describing the Duke of Sussex as an โangryโ person who is โpetrifiedโ of losing his wife, Vickers was asked for his prediction on where the Sussexes will be in 20 years.
โI think heโll come home,โ he told the Sun, moving his hands in separate directions.
โI think heโll come home and if he comes home, we must be very nice to him because he wonโt particularly want to. Heโs quite angry, I think.โ
Vickers, who has penned over 30 royal books throughout his career, suggested that King Charles would welcome his estranged son back into the royal fold.
โYes, I do,โ he said. โThe king has left the door wide open for him to do that and he was doing such a good job before and โฆ he looked so happy.โ
โUsually, youโre happy when youโre doing your duty and youโre doing it for other people and youโre putting things into life,โ he went on.
โIf youโre taking things out of life, at the risk of getting a lot of hate mail, I personally think that he looks like heโs petrified of losing her [Meghan] and looks slightly petrified of her.โ
The Post has reached out to reps for the Sussexes for comment.
Harry and the โSuitsโ alum, 42, quit royal life in 2020 and moved across the pond to start afresh.
Since then, theyโve been estranged from the senior members of the Firm and have only returned to London a handful of times.
Markle, for her part, was last in London for Queen Elizabeth IIโs funeral in September 2022 โ proving that the feud between both camps is still ongoing.
According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for the monarch, 75, for seven years, โtoo much damageโ has been done for things to go back to how they were.
In fact, Harrold believes the only way the Sussexes can get let back into the royal fold is if Harry releases a public apology for all the hurt that was caused by his protocol-shattering memoir, โSpare.โ
It seems like the possibility of Prince Harry returning to the UK without Meghan Markle is gaining traction among royal biographers. Hugo Vickers, a respected author in the royal circle, has made a bold claim that Harry might make a defiant return to his homeland on his own.
Vickers describes Harry as an “angry” individual who is deeply afraid of losing his wife. Despite this fear, Vickers predicts that Harry will eventually come back to the UK. He even suggests that King Charles would be open to welcoming his estranged son back into the royal family.
However, the road to reconciliation may not be smooth. Former royal butler Grant Harrold believes that too much damage has been done for things to go back to how they were. He even states that the only way the Sussexes can re-enter the royal fold is if Harry publicly apologizes for the hurt caused by his controversial memoir, “Spare.”
It’s clear that the dynamics within the royal family are still complex and delicate. As the saga continues to unfold, only time will tell what the future holds for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
