Taylor Swift, while performing to a sold-out crowd in Amsterdam as part of her Eras Tour, had to abruptly halt her show mid-performance.

During her rendition of “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” from the Red era, the 34-year-old singer paused to assist fans who were having difficulties in the standing section of the stadium, according to reports and videos shared on social media.

“I’d like to be my old self again, but I’m still trying to find it,” she sang before her attention was drawn to the sea of fans below. 

Taylor’s gaze shifted to the right side of the stage and she continued singing for a couple more lines before stopping.

Upon pausing the song, Taylor announced: “They need some help over there where they are shining their lights.”

Maintaining her focus, she resumed singing the poignant hit: “But you keep my old scarf from that very first week ’cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me, you can’t get it rid of it.”

She then raised her voice and firmly stated into her microphone: “They need help.”

Taylor could be seen pointing towards the area where the fans in distress were located. After singing a few more lines, she interrupted the song once again.

“Do they have help? ” she queried. Only after receiving confirmation that her devoted fans – whom she deeply cares for – were safe, did Taylor conclude the song.

It’s not uncommon for Taylor to pause her concerts to aid fans in need, demonstrating her profound love for them.

During her third and final show in Amsterdam on July 6, Taylor Swift surprised fans by performing a rarely sung song believed to be a sweet tribute to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

In the acoustic set, Taylor performed a mash-up of ‘Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)’ from her debut album, ‘So High School’ from The Tortured Poets Department (confirmed to be about Travis), and ‘Everything Has Changed’ from her popular Red album.

The ‘Mary’s Song’ segment had fans in a frenzy. The song tells the story of two childhood friends falling in love as they grow older.

In the song, Taylor sings: “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my my my.”
