Emma Heming Willis, wife of Bruce Willis, has taken to social media to share the latest on her campaign for frontotemporalย
dementia (FTD) awareness, including a thoughtful message from Bruce himself.
The devoted spouse is actively keeping fans in the loop about Bruceโs health struggles with FTD and her own advocacy efforts.ย
In a recent update, Emma highlighted Spencer Cline and his future brother-in-law Paulโs cross-America bike ride aimed at raising funds and awareness for the condition.
Revealing her personal support by sponsoring them $1 per mile, Emma also relayed Bruceโs advice for the duo, urging them to โhydrateโ during their impressive endeavour.ย
Her post, accompanied by a video clip, read: โPart 2 of 3 FTD Advocacy Updatesโฆ A huge shout to @spencer_cline22 and his future brother-in-law Paul,ย
who are cycling their way across America. There arenโt even pro cyclists!โ
She continued: โThis is just wild! But thatโs the effect FTD leaves on us. It makes us passionate and motivated to work for change and to just be seen. Lemme tell you something, we see you Spencer and Paul! I can also see you guys are getting media coverage out there too! I can imagine what Bruce would say, โI hope they remember to hydrate.โ I second that. Stay strong and safe out there! Iโm so proud of you guys.โ
Emma has previously opened up about her tireless efforts to raise awareness for FTD. In an Instagram post, she shared: โI have many reasons why I advocate. But one of them is that this a way for me and our family to be able to take our power back in this. FTD has a way of re-writing your whole life.โ
She went on to add: โBut, by advocating for our family and for someone elseโs family I feel like that has really been the secret sauce. It has motivated me, and has made me feel better about this journey. So Iโm excited for you to jump on this bandwagon. Iโm sorry that you have to be on it, but so much good will come of it, I promise. So good luck.โ
